Bright and early: new Tribal has arrived
Fresh Tribal arrivals, straight off this morning's shipment — a cocoon coat, a car coat, and quilted jackets built for cooler Valley mornings.
Owner's Notes
A few notes from Kentville on packing light for a Mediterranean summer, and the pieces from the shop that came along for the ride.

Every summer I try to get back to Lebanon to see family, and every summer I over-pack and regret it by the second suitcase. This year I kept it simple: a couple of quarter-zip pullovers, a good pair of shorts, and sandals I could wear from the airport straight through to dinner on the coast.
It is a good reminder of why we carry the brands we do at Phinney's. Beirut in July is warm and humid, not unlike a Kentville heat wave, and the same easy, breathable pieces that work for a Valley summer worked just as well for evenings by the Mediterranean. Below is more or less what lived in my carry-on.
The Travel Capsule
Johnston & Murphy
Reversible, so it packs as two pullovers in the space of one. Lived in this the whole first week.
